Write it, say it, or draw it — before it goes. Everything stays on your iPhone and in your own iCloud.
The Dream World
Some places return. A town you have walked through twice. A sea you have crossed before. Mark them, and a map of your own nights begins to take shape.
This is somebody else's Dream World. Yours starts empty.
Inside Onar you build your own: add the places you saw at night — houses, streets, cities, mountains, rivers, anything at all. Zoom in to draw the small details, and paint whole regions in whatever colours the place had.
A place you keep returning to stays vivid. Leave one alone for three months and it slowly fades — never gone, just quiet, waiting. Tie one more dream to it and the colour comes back.

Privacy
Not a promise — an architecture. Onar has no server and no account. What you write lives on your device and syncs through your own iCloud, in a private database we have no key to.
There are no analytics. No third-party SDKs. No AI reading anything, anywhere. The App Store privacy label reads: Data Not Collected.
The less we know about you, the better we've done our job.
Before it fades
So there are three ways in, and you take whichever is fastest.
A blank page with the date already filled in. A title only if you want one.
Say it out loud while your eyes are still closed. Speech becomes text on the device itself — the audio never leaves it.
A finger or an Apple Pencil, for the shape you remember but cannot name.
All three live inside one entry. A dream is never split into pieces.
Symbols
Water. The house. The road. The shadow. Classical readings from the Jungian tradition — not verdicts about your life, and not predictions.
Add your own meaning to any of them. Or make symbols that exist only in your dreams, and give them the meaning they have for you.
Dream interpretation has no scientific basis. It is a cultural and psychological tradition, and Onar treats it as one. No diagnoses, no advice.
Plans
Prices shown in US dollars; your store converts them for your region and shows the final price before you buy. The free month belongs to the yearly plan and is used by whichever subscription you start first.
Questions
Nowhere. There is no server and no account. Entries stay on your device and sync only through your own iCloud private database. We have no access to it — which is why we cannot lose it, sell it, or hand it over.
Sign in with the same Apple ID and your text, symbols, places, map, moods and dates come back.
Voice recordings do not. The audio file stays on the device it was recorded on — its transcription syncs, so the dream itself is not lost, only the voice. We are working on this.
No. There is no sign-up screen in Onar at all.
Yes. Write on a plane, in a hotel with no wifi, at four in the morning with the router off. Syncing catches up whenever the device is next online.
No, and there is no plan for one. Onar is built on Apple's own frameworks, and its privacy rests on them.
No. Speech recognition is forced to run on the device. If your language has no on-device model available, Onar tells you so and keeps the audio as a file — it still does not send it anywhere.
Voice, sketching, the symbol dictionary and your own custom symbols.
Text entries, the library, search, themes, Face ID and the whole Dream World are free.
Because paper doesn't search. A notebook holds everything you dreamed and gives back none of it: no way to find every dream with water in it, no way to notice that the same town has appeared four times in a year.
Onar keeps the speed of writing by hand — and adds what comes after.
We believe they are worth writing down. Interpretation is a tradition, not a science, and the readings in Onar are phrased as questions for that reason. What they mean is your part of the work.

Not convenience — the word we reach for too quickly in tech. Comfort is quieter, and harder to earn.
