Dream Symbol Dictionary

A dream symbol is not a code with one answer. A key opens something — but whether you were holding it, hunting for it, or handing it to someone changes what the dream was saying. The object gives the theme. The dream gives the sense.

Every entry here reads a symbol the same way: what it commonly stands for, how the context of the dream shifts it, what it tends to mean when it returns night after night, and how it is understood in Jungian terms. Start with the object you remember most clearly — that is usually the one carrying the weight.

This dictionary gives the general meaning. Tying it to your dream — the state you woke in, the places you keep returning to, the symbols that arrive together — is what the app is for.

Your own dream, not a general one

Onar keeps your dreams on your device, lets you mark the symbols you saw, and asks the questions that connect them to the night you had. Nothing is uploaded, nothing is analysed by a machine.
